How big are the units?

The screen is 10cm by 5cm (about the same as the iPhone) and is set in a rugged water resistant case.

How long do the batteries last?

The average battery life is approximately 3 hours.

How do you charge them up?

The units are charged on a special rack that is managed by a computer – This also manages the tour content in each device. This is part of the installation and there are a range of options available.

Can I change the content material in a tour?

Yes – This can be done easily and quickly for all the units when they are plugged into the special charging rack and control unit.

What happens if a unit breaks or has a fault?

For technical faults the units are covered by comprehensive warranty for parts and technology and can easily be replaced or repaired. For breakage or damage through misuse, then insurance options are available.

Can I change the colour of my units?

No – The units are black with a white face & paddles but can be branded with stickers, transfers or other branding mechanisms.

Can I star in my own tour?

Absolutely! Together we design exactly what you want to present and who should feature in your end product – Become a star of the 'small screen'.

How do I get a tour designed for my venue?

Just contact us – We will come and meet you and your team and share our knowledge and suggestions on how to achieve the best result for you. Then we work through a story board of what your tour content will involve and work together to turn your dreams into digital reality.

How much does it all cost?

We can put together a package that will be cheaper than you might imagine for such state-of-the-art technology. Most small scale solutions will have set up fees that start from as little as $15,000 to $20,000 plus monthly license fee. Do I need any experience?

No – We can guide you through the process step by step and will provide all the expertise needed.

What kind of support will I get?

We will put in place a suitable support and maintenance agreement that will cover you and your business operation.

What information can I get about my tour / game?

We can prepare comprehensive reports that show exactly which route each user took, how long they stopped at each point of interest and exactly which messages they triggered – This is very detailed and can be used to measure, analyze and improve the experience of your venue.

Do I need any special technology?

No – As part of the installation we supply both the handheld units and all the charging and control systems. All you need is power, internet access and some basic training!

Do my customer's need to be trained on how to use it?

No – Simply turn it on and follow the basic instructions to start.  As you move the rest is automatic based on your GPS location.

How long does it take to build an application?

Generally about 6 weeks. This varies depending on the amount and type of content you need – For example complex flash animation takes longer than still photography.

Can we put our own media and photographs into a tour?

Yes – You can supply as much of the content as you have. We can easily combine old and new content to make an effective presentation.

Can I include advertising in my tour?

Yes – We actively encourage you to consider the cross selling of other features that can be contained in your customers experience. We can provide detailed reports of exactly how many times each message has been presented so you can track the results.
